Lior was born and raised in Kfar Yehoshua, Israel. She served as Lieutenant of education in the IDF, and graduated from Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Management, Minor in Jewish History, and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management.
After marrying, she moved to Sderot and lived there for seven years. While studying she worked as Perach Coordinator at the University and Director of an after-school learning center for new immigrants in Sderot. After college, Lior worked at Sderot High School and soon became Program Director, Advisor and administrator.
In 2000, Lior moved to Chicago with her family to work at Hillel Torah day school, where she remains today as Head of the Middle-School Hebrew Department and directs the Outdoor Educational, Bar and Bat Mitzvah, and Israel Learning programs. In 2007, Lior assumed the position of Maccabim Sunday School's Principal.

Sivan Schneider grew up in Raanana, Israel, and graduated from Alon High School in Ramat Hasharon with a concentration in Visual Arts. She received her BA in Behavioral Sciences from Ben Gurion University, and her MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She teaches as an Adjunct Faculty at the psychology department of St. Augustine College, and has a private practice, working with children and adults. She has enjoyed teaching Hebrew in Sunday schools throughout her years living in Chicago, in different congregations and Jewish communities such as KAM-II, secular humanistic schools, and for the past several years, as a pre-K teacher at Maccabim.

Suzan Silverstein was born in Morocco and raised in Ma'alot, Israel. She attended Beit Rivka Teachers seminar in Kfar Chabad and was a teacher in Tzfat. She moved to the U.S. in 1989, and has taught at several schools in the Chicagoland area, including Hillel Torah. Suzan has been a gan teacher at Maccabim for the past 10 years.

Shlomit was born and raised in Afula. Following her service in the IDF Intelligence unit, she pursued higher education, earning a teacher certificate and a Bachelor in Education from Beit Berl College. She furthered her studies with a Master's in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus College.
Shlomit began her teaching career in Israel, where she taught elementary school as a homeroom teacher for several years. In 2000, she relocated to the United States and has since dedicated her career to Jewish education. Her experience includes teaching in various Jewish day schools throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as supplementary school programs within synagogues. Additionally, she has taught adult learners at the Chicago Federation for Jewish Education (CFJE). Currently, Shlomit is a Hebrew teacher at Solomon Schechter Middle School.

I am Hila Green Hollingsworth, mother to Shiri, a former Maccabim graduate who is now in college. I am married to Dr. Guy Hollingsworth. I was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. After graduating from high school, I was drafted into the IDF and served in Rafael, one of the units of the defense ministry. I arrived in the USA after my husband "kidnapped" me from Israel to California. I studied chemical and textile engineering at Shenkar College and biology at Tel Aviv University. Since arriving in the USA, I have taught Hebrew and Jewish studies, including teaching at reform and conservative synagogues. I have been on staff at one of the largest summer camps in the USA, run by the Reform movement called OSRUI, where I taught Hebrew, religious studies, and cooking, using Hebrew during the classes. I am happy to be a member of the faculty at Maccabim School.

She is currently working for Prime Quest Management and is happy to join the staff of Maccabim Hebrew School in the accounting department.

Chava was born and raised in Jerusalem and completed training in teaching and graphics at the Bei
Chava was born and raised in Jerusalem and completed training in teaching and graphics at the Beit Yaakov Seminary. She also completed training as part of a medical device track at the Engineering Kirya. After working at summer camps, Chava moved with her family to Chicago in order to work with the Israeli community. She currently works at Maccabim Sunday School as an administrative assistant and as a Hebrew teacher at Arie Crown Hebrew day school.
Rabbi Sherman was born and raised in Jerusalem. He completed his BA in Talmudic Law at the Negev
Rabbi Sherman was born and raised in Jerusalem. He completed his BA in Talmudic Law at the Negev Yeshiva and an MA from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate. Rabbi Sherman also received community training by the late Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu z"l and completed, with distinction, training in education fundamentals. He managed a youth program for high school dropouts in Jerusalem and has managed the Yisraelink organization since 2011.
